1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of India, and able to form a binding contract, to use Kaapi. By using the app you confirm you meet these requirements.

2. The service

Kaapi is a personal finance app that, with your permission, reads financial emails from your connected mailbox to build a spending dashboard, obtains your credit report and score from a credit bureau, and provides AI assistants that discuss your spending and credit. Features may change, be added, or be removed over time.

When you connect a Gmail or Outlook mailbox or request your credit report, you authorize Kaapi to access that data as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the right to connect the accounts you connect. You can disconnect a mailbox, turn off notifications, or delete your data at any time.

5. Not financial or credit advice

Kaapi provides information, tools, and AI-generated content for your personal use. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal, or credit-repair advice, and the AI assistants can make mistakes. Credit scores and report data come from third-party bureaus and may be incomplete or out of date. You are responsible for your own financial decisions; consider consulting a qualified professional before acting.

Kaapi, its name, logo, software, and content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose. Your data remains yours.

8. Third-party services

The app relies on third-party services (e.g. Google, Microsoft, credit bureaus, cloud and AI providers, app stores). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we’re not responsible for them.

9. Disclaimers

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information it shows is accurate or complete.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kaapi and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Kaapi harmless from claims and expenses arising out of your misuse of the app or violation of these Terms.

You can stop using Kaapi and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service. On termination, the relevant sections of these Terms survive.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at [City], India.
